Don't forget to purchase a domain (your websites URL) if you haven't already. Without a domain and an active Showit subscription, you won't be able to launch your website.

If you already have a website, you can simply leave it online while you work on your new website in Showit.

Otherwise, just follow the steps on this page. Once you have linked your domain name, your new website is live and you can cancel your old website (and any external website hosting)!

This only applies if you don't already have a website. Purchase a domain name from a registrar such as SquareSpace Domains or GoDaddy.

My website templates work only within Showit. Find out which Showit plan suits you here. If you don't want to blog, choose the cheapest plan. If you are planning on blogging, then the Showit & Basic Starter Blog package is sufficient in most cases.

With a Showit subscription, website hosting is always included. This means you won't have the hassle of finding and setting up hosting yourself! 

Just a heads-up: Showit doesn't cover email hosting. You'll need to sort that out separately. I personally recommend Google Workspace: for just a few dollars a month, you can get a professional email address here.

Yes! Showit works with WordPress for blogging. If you already have a WordPress website with blogs, you can have them transferred for free. In this case, the Showit support team will create a new WordPress account for you and migrate the blogs. So no worries, you won't lose them!

In Showit, you can customize everything. Yes, you read that right, EVERYTHING! 

Unlike other website builders, with Showit you're not stuck with certain layouts or blocks. You also don't have to dive into code to make a simple change, you can easily customize your website with the easy drag-and-drop builder!

Further, you can add as many pages as you want. You're definitely not stuck to the number of pages in my Showit website templates.

Finally, Showit also integrates with various programs such as Shopify to run a web shop, Flodesk for email integration and various booking systems to have let your clients schedule appointments directly on your Showit website.

Absolutely. If you purchased one of my Showit templates, and you don't need the blog pages, you can simply delete them. In addition, you can also easily duplicate pages or start off with a blank page and design it yourself.

Although I always recommend blogging for better search engine visibility, it's not for everyone. You can just delete the blog pages. Don't just leave them online, because if they are published your blog will also show up in Google and visitors will end up on a blank page. 

If you still want to pick up blogging later, you can add the blog pages again and upgrade your Showit account to a Showit & Basic Starter blog plan.
